I would only put Bath in the same league as Notts. Leicester a bit further behind. The others are very weak indeed. But do they only allow 5 applications now?

Well I'm not really interested in overall league table rankings of the university. Leicester is infact the best uni for biosciences
as its ranked 8th, but the course is amazing and thats what matters to me most.

It isn't the overall ranking I was referring to. It is the fact that Nottingham is a Russell Group university, and often the most targeted university by top graduate employers. Bath is not RG, but nevertheless it is a university for gifted students, and employers know it. Leicester next up, but not as good overall.

It does have a good reputation, but it isn't based on the main campus, so naturally some students don't want to commute into Sutton Bonington. Unlike Nottingham city, Sutton Bonington is very posh and affluent. They have a Vet School down there too.
Really? Don't know much about Sutton Bonington (International Student, didn't manage to go to an open day) but I didn't know/think it was posh. But I'm applying for vetmed, so hopefully it's nice ^^

To put it another way, Sutton Bonington is in the top 10% of the richest areas in the UK. Rural setting. But the students aren't posh in the main.
