OCR Physics A G485 - Frontiers of Physics - 18th June 2015

Here we go! We can discuss exam questions or general content if you need help.

I won't be revising for a while but if I can help, I'll try, means less revision for me in the summer if I help people earlier on (or if people explain to me!)

We haven't started yet! Going to start Cosmology when back. Will update OP with resources whenever.

I've decided to get a revision thread going for the OCR FPFF June 2015 Exam.
I know it's pretty early, but this is going to be a hard exam.
We have just started to cover it in class

If you are wanting to do Past papers I would start at the older ones and work your way forward to the more recent material

We finished cosmology and medical before the hols, i was expecting to enjoy cosmology more but the teacher is such a bore, I was gonna just revise over the break but I cant seem to find a spec to find out what I need to know, he gave us so much info and didnt tell us what we should expect to be asked? Medical isnt so bad, most of the longer questions have mnemonics to answer so its some hopefully straightforward marks.

If they have increased the time allowed from 1 hour to 1 hour 15 for unit G484 (Newtonian world) does that mean there will be an extra question in the paper? And how can one find out about the mark needed for an A* as they don't show it on the OCR online grade boundaries? (Did Edexcel AS physics so this is all new to me) Thanks!
