Just got an email last night offering me an interview on Wednesday for medical physiology and therapeutics with a foundation year. I'm extremely nervous as I really want a place! Does anyone have some useful tips for the interview? 😭

Same for me! I applied to Cass Business School, Sheffield, Manchester and Leicester. I have offers from all except Manchester so far. Where else have you applied? What's your first choice?

Well done! What other courses did you apply for? Economics? I applied to Cardiff, Sheffield, King's and Plymouth (all for dentistry). But I haven't got any interviews for these yet, they are still considering my application.
Nottingham's main campus is really awesome. Do visit it for sure, especially in summer. This university used to be rated as a top 8 just over a decade ago. It is the most targeted university by the top 100 graduate employers, along with Manchester.
How long did everyone have to wait before Notts acknowledged your application? Sent mine last week and haven't heard anything :frown:

I wouldn't worry, they seem to be kinda slow acknowledging, but they make decisions kinda quickly! It took them over two weeks to acknowledge me,but then a couple of days after I got an offer :smile: what are you applying for?

I'm hoping to do law - Nottingham is one of the best law schools in the country. It looks so hard to get into, their entry requirements are higher than Oxford... but from what I hear, most people get made lower offers!

Got an offer AAA* for Mech Eng , then got a letter this weekend to say if I firmed would get an unconditional offer. Stunned but delighted.

I got BBB at As level as well as meet all the pre-requisites of Bsc management. My predicted are BBB as well as my recommendations are good. Would i extended an offer or not?
Got ABB to do Neuroscience...No idea how I didn't get AAB....

Kind of lucky, that. But that means the course isn't oversubscribed. At ABB they still feel you are good enough to do well. I've known for them to ask AAA in years gone by.

As I have said before in this thread, Notts has a great main campus, the halls are fantastic for socialising with lots of people, they are mostly within walking distance to complete the legendary campus 14 bar crawl. So much better than that of Birmingham uni overall. For all the furore of Durham, I don't think it has the same scale of beauty as Nottingham. The latter has nicer department buildings.

The uni has 14 bars? Or is that just the city centre?
