Going to Anfield for the first ever time after January, know a mate who says he will give me his season ticket for any game.

Which match should I choose ?

In all seriousness, it's between Leicester on New Year's Day and West Ham.

West Ham are a more historic club and will probably have the best support - plus they play better football, but Leicester are gritty and are capable of giving us a scare so it's really up to you.

New Year's Day is always a decent atmosphere, though. It's like a football tradition.

There’s a lot positive that’s been said about women’s football recently, and however much I resent that ‘women’ are allowed to ‘play’ this sacred game of ‘football’ I have to accept that now we are in the 21st Century, all people should be allowed to play sport.

We've been **** at Anfield recently haven't we. I remember the run under Alex where we had something like 4 good results in 5. Remember John O'Shea at the Kop? Or Forlan? Iconic. But recently we've been ****, there's just a lack of belief when we go there. I mean when "We're N'gog'ing to Ibiza" is scoring against you, you know you are in trouble.

I'd expect to beat the Scousers at home however.

Liverpool are equally poor when they go to Old Trafford though (2 wins in 10 years I believe), so it's probably just to do with the rivalry.

Hmm guess there is no easy fix to this.

You do wonder if we should try:

Lambert
Lallana Henderson Sterling
Can Lucas
Moreno Toure Skrtel Johnson
Mignolet

Possibly replace Lambert with Balotelli / replace Johnson with Manquillo / replace Lallana with Coutinho

We can sit deeper and protect the defence and build from there?

Seems like a good setup, I wouldn't mind seeing us try that. But Rodgers won't drop Gerrard from the starting XI, especially now since we are in a rut. Imagine that team loses the match, BR will be in a deeper hole especially as the media will jump on his back for not starting our talismanic captain.
