God, job search atm and it's just an endless deluge of Recruitment Consultants... they're everywhere.

They call you once, say they'll ring back and they rarely do ffs. Takes the piss.

Still I guess it's better than nothing. We have recruitment agencies made for recruitment agencies is this real life?

Yeah, same experiences here. I am sure they just compile a big list of people and that is their job.

At this rate, actually considering selling my penis to the old ladies of Hong Kong. Some hapa gigolo **** . The struggle is real!

Btw Zurich, why do you talk like some dumb football goon when really you are a LSE 1st class doctorate lecturer? Is this real life? Is the Bank of England for example full of coked up Arsenal fans who are just winging it? I don't even know what to believe anymore...

Yup had an idea of getting into porn lel. Veruca James was an accountant at Deloitte I think and she's sucking good dick and is a millionaire by now probably.

You get IB people taking coke in toilets during their break so that they can stay up on their nightshift so I guess Zurich is just getting used to that.

cocaine is one helluva drug

Has anyone done the online tests for the HMRC Graduate Tax Professional program? I did all four this morning, goodness me, feel like I need to sit on a rubber ring for the rest of the day.

I did the numerical one and failed miserably  I've found most numerical reasoning tests to be doable but that one was ridiculous!

Is it just me that thinks "Veruca" is a ridiculously bad name for a pornstar? Eww. She just has a very unsanitized look (and not in a good way either :flutter::yucky:  .

''I'm a football fan first, just happen to support 'em''

The most ridiculous and infuriating thing Utd fans from London seem to say, I would watch Arsenal compete in a karaoke contest never mind footers

That is silly, but it doesn't matter where you are from to be honest. What matters is that you love your club. Anything else is snobbery. It's this "high ground" argument you get from some. The reality is the big clubs (and I include clubs such as Leeds, Forest, Newcastle) have fans from all over the world. And that's a beautiful thing for me.

They all became football fans in 1999.

As opposed to those at Stamford Bridge who became football fans in 2004.

Have to say, BB misc still has us beaten hands down for thread content

Weird, my granddad came here (Birmingham) from Belfast in the 50's and went to the Villa for cheap, which is how my dad became a fan and how I became a fan.

If you've got a club on your doorstep why not support those?

My dad came and was:

a) Poor
b) not into football/clueless bar what he heard at school

He didn't know what local clubs meant to people etc. So he grew up supporting United, as did I. It's hard once you've attached yourself to a club to change to a local one (especially when my local club are big rivals with United). I may be defined as a glory supporter but i don't care. When i'm older i'll get a season ticket to OT no sweat.

It's not hard, that's a complete myth. One of my mates was a Blackburn fan in the 90's then switched to Blues. One of my teachers grew up an MU fan (from London) then started going to Blues and is now a massive Blues fan. It's hard if you care what other people will think of you maybe.

There are exceptions to supporting non local teams but not many. We've got loads of fans ourselves but what have they ever had to cheer really?

If MU fall off and start seriously struggling I bet you a lot of people will find it easier.
As much as I'm not that bothered by others supporting a non-local team, I would probably end up going to games of my new local team if I ever moved to a new part of the country.

As for it being hard to change teams, I don't know why you have to. Why can't you support two teams? I wouldn't stop supporting West Brom if I did move and start going to someone else's games.

How is it easy? You grow an affiliation to the club, it becomes a part of your life. My local team are Leeds United, how is it easy for me to go from supporting their bitter rivals to them? And how can I support them both?

End of the day mate, I'll stick to United and you to Villa. You can have your local club high ground, I'll have the trophies
