Can't tell if troll, I will assume you aren't a troll.

Women who work for the same company in the same job as a man, earn the same as a man. This is as a result of the Equal Pay Act. Women chose different jobs as to what men chose.

You mention the equal pay act but yet look it up, there is absolutely no evidence of it having made any effect, women are still very much under-valued in the workplace. To say that women "choose" to earn less is bullsugar, get your head out of your arse.
Men also don't nearly have the troubles of having to deal with domestic abuse, sexual violence or harassment on the scale that women do. when was the last time that you or I was offered a "lift" from someone driving by as we were walking peacefully down the street? These are all issues for women. I would very much like the freedom to express my emotions without facing judgement and women would like to do the same without men asking them if they're "on their periods". Men have a much higher suicide rate than women do, this is a result of being told throughout your life that "big boys don't cry", men can't seek help with their issues because the PATRIARCHY enforces the belief that men have to be strong and as a result we kill ourselves. It is in our interest to be on the feminist's side and if you are too ignorant to see that then there is a VERY special place in hell for you, you fascist!

Why is modern feminism poison, and from that statement does that mean you believe previous forms of feminism were good?

Feminism in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries combated discrimination against women in areas like not having the right to elect their representatives or being barred from entering certain professions. It was a noble movement which helped to and succeeded in correcting many social ills, and there is little doubt in my mind that the vast majority of men and women who attack feminism today sympathise with this previous incarnation.

Feminism today seeks to continue this energy seemingly largely because the individuals involved enjoy feeling part of something bigger and part of a group and/or are inherently resentful individuals with a chip on their shoulder towards men or society in general. The young women who join the feminist ranks today do so almost always, I believe, because they want to be in on the social 'brand' that feminism has become, something to show off with a badge on their jackets, and not because they genuinely see or care to protest any actual wrong in society. I doubt most of the suffragettes even bothered to call themselves 'feminists', if that was even a term then. Many of today's cohort call themselves feminists because they fear that to not do so is to demonstrate a humiliating submissiveness to the male-orchestrated 'patriarchy', and that by calling themselves a feminist they can ensure that others will see them as a self-respecting person. Others do so because they think it marks them out as intelligent and well-read, simply by verbally associating themselves with an old political movement.

Its battlegrounds are not voting rights or legally-enforced glass ceilings so that all women might have the opportunity to succeed but in bullying organisations to have absolute equality of outcome in employment and pay of men and women, regardless of how many apply/are involved of each gender, the merit of the individuals themselves or even the type of work they are doing and for how many hours they are doing it. It seeks out things to complain about on increasingly nebulous grounds, such as attacking pop songs that they claim encourage sexual assault and even rape, demanding that these songs and other media are forcibly removed from public dissemination rather than inviting individuals to consider not tolerating them privately. All the while, they almost universally claim to be a movement that supports gender equality but their voices are almost silent if present at all on issues of male discrimination such as custody laws.

Many of the measures that many of its members have pushed for or supports now that they are in place are actively sexist towards men. All-female shortlists in parliament, for example, is an affront to democracy that bans half of the population from standing for a party in a seat on account of their gender. The intention is that more women are represented in parliament. The problem is that it isn't because of some patriarchal conspiracy that women are underepresented here, or likely in any other example. It's because far fewer women put themselves forward in the first place. There are more women in the UK cabinet proportionate to the number of women MPs than there are men, purely because of this kind of nonsensical sexist selection.

The movement today is incomparable to what it was such as to justify viewing it as a totally different one altogether. It seeks to impose a damaging and short-sighted equality of outcome, it wants to see and protest about the patriarchy at every turn for the sake of protest and it cares nothing for gender equality but rather the increasing of female privilege in society.

I don't know of anyone who would consider the contemporary feminist movement as the flag-bearer for the fight against issues like FGM, fights against serious things like that are now seemingly carried out largely by individuals on social media, politicians and specialist pressure groups. I do know that a large number of people, however, consider it a melting pot of intolerance, selfishness and irrelevance, and I am one of them.

Do you see your opinion as a show of feminism or egalitarianism?

I don't see why they both have to be mutually exclusive.

as a man, i am fully affected by the patriarchy, it is socially unacceptable for me to cry, show emotions and god forbid i was gay.
Women on average in the UK earn 85% of what a man does based on the same work, ability and quality of resume, this figure drops to 82% in the USA, to say that the patriarchy is not a thing is like saying that Rape culture is not a thing, you are just an ignorant fascist.

Patriarchy, Lad Culture and Rape Culture are not things. They are hideous biproducts of the classist, consumer driven capitalist society we have built. A society in which we are all, white hetrosexual men included, poorer. You wanna smash all these things you have to realise that it is not a precise or delicate procedure and some of your shiny trinkets will be necessary casualties. Oh, and you better have a bloody good idea of what you're gonna replace it all with.

You can cry, it is acceptable. You can also show emotion. I don't know what sort of social circles you hang out in, but I have never been confronted or ridiculed for showing emotion.

I'm not going to have a debate about facts and figures. The core of feminism is about rights.
Do women have the same legal rights as men?

Rape culture isn't a thing. Rape is not socially acceptable in anyway, shape or form. If it were socially acceptable those who were accused (not even convicted) of rape would not have their lives ruined by the media. Just look at the recent case of that chap in the Oxford Union. Young boys are not being taught to rape women. The whole idea of this rape culture is utterly ridiculous.

(Really ad hominem? That will not validate your opinion)
Seriously bed time. Night I'll answer
tomorrow if I have time.

So why is it then that when the cloud was hacked and nude photo's of several celebrities were released and everyone went berserk, having a massive celebration, but then when Kim Kardashian took a CONSENSUAL nude photoshoot she called a "slut", "slag", "whore" and every which despicable word one could think of that of?

Your trolling skills are starting to fade.

Because she was effectively selling her body.

The celebrities didn't have much control of the leaks.

They don't I was just curious to see if you'd picked a side per say as they fight for the same thing but many people prefer the latter as they don't like the connotations feminism comes with. Thank you for sharing though.

Just because you refuse to look at the facts, that does not make me a troll!
people like you are what make society such a horrid place, rather than seeking out ways to make society more fair and equal you ignore these issues and delude yourself into believing that nothing's wrong. tell me, have you been raped? been cat-called? been called a whore? Probably not but ask any woman on this thread if she has experienced any of these things and i can guarantee you now that she will say yes.

how about this?
We are being oppressed in almost every way due to capitalism and fascism masquerading as liberal democracy (i.e. as in the USA where murder is legal as long as you kill a black person). Anarchism worked in Catalonia until Franco and his fascist seized the area meanwhile turning all the leftists against each other. Might I say that Anarchism isn't a lack of order, much rather it is a lack of power, instead of being oppressed we live in a state of mutual respect for the purposes of progression instead of the gain of capital, an absence of socioeconomic inequality and social class. Anarchy represents order, respect and progress, capitalism is a state of oppression based on a wealth that values a person based on their excess rather than their character and virtues.

To be honest I don't care about Kim Kardashian or about hacked celebrities. Neither event really made an impact on my universe.

If you want an answer however I think it's obvious. Kim was paid. We envy the material and monetary wealth of others because we're conditioned to do so. By a consumer society. Sex sold out a long time ago buddy. Gender politics is just a pawn in the game.

Even Emma Watsons rather impressive speech at the UN. Wonder how much dosh the Youtube clip generated? Wonder how many Buzzfeedesque websites piggybacked the story to up their hit counter and spin some more ad revenue.

This man knows.
