[city university L] can you socialise without living in the halls?

City university Londons accommodation is just way too expensive so I would be living at home while I study.

do you guys think this would make socialising and joining societies/sports team diffcult? do people from other majors talk to each other and interact inbetween classes?

I commute and have still been able to socialise! I was worried about this at first but I've made some great friends and the majority of my friends all commute because it's a London uni. I have friends on the unis sports teams who commute aswell so as long as you make the effort to socialise etc it will be fine

social life in the economics department is terrible, but overall is ok. Cass is more social than us
