Load of Rubbish. I am disabled, I will vote for UKIP. My disability isn't the basis for my existence like many disabled people seem to submit to it as their be all and end all. I hate the government because it made me disabled.

Then you vote for your own demise...........

lol.

Well I don't need the government to take care of me I can do it myself. So my demise will only come with the less freedom from the government I have.

This is serious, not a laughing matter.

But lets just clear a few things up.

1. I am not a activist of Lib/Lab/Con. I am a Socialist. This means I campaign for genuine Socialist movements.
2. 80% of the media is right-wing. I get my information directly from social media, youtube and the alternative media.
3. I smell the coffee everyday. I am a functional computer programmer who enjoys many different types of Java.

...............................................

As a Disabled person I will tell you this. UKIP do not represent Disabled people. The majority of Disability organisations do not trust UKIP. Disabled people are now a organized voting block just like Pensioners. So UKIP do not represent the majority of workers. They represent a minority of workers. If UKIP get a majority of MP's in the general election you can come out with that claim but for now you are a minority.

You have 2 MPs. UKIP have a tiny influence. Like a mouse squeaking British Jobs for British workers.

There was a time when the same could be said about the SNP and now they are expected to wipe the floor with Labour next general election. Every party starts off somewhere and as time has shown UKIP to grow and grow maybe not next year but the 2020 elections after the referendum look very promising.

Uhh how can that be true when UKIP is one of the most right wing parties in the UK?

I've always seen straight through Russel Brand. It's funny how he's so anti-politician, yet his response in the OP's video is the most politician-like response he could have possibly given. He didn't answer the question and tried to shift the topic onto something else. The fact of the matter is he knows there's a contradiction in his seemingly Marxist-style logic with him owning or renting a very expensive house. That's why he tries to shift the topic, and that's why he lets the woman start piping up to the interviewer at the end of the video so that the attention is taken off him.

Agree totally. This the difference between having a brain and not having one.

I really don't understand blind loyalty. Shouldn't a person be critical of everything which is said. I mean even if the party you support says something challenging shouldn't you be judging them and hold them to account?

When Obama started the whole healthcare reform in the USA people where like "Oh will will trust our president because that is what Democrats do". When I heard this I was like facepalm and thought to myself the Americans deserve everything they get. A year later Americans healthcare premiums rocket and they wonder why they got fleeced.

You've got to criticise everyone to make sure they aren't a Wolf in Sheeps clothing.

Yet you do understand blind hatred of someone though.

Well you can get ready to sing whatever songs the Swedish Fascist friends of UKIP come out with. Perhaps you can chant along to racist Saga and her song "As the Snow Fell".

Personally I'll keep to Blade Loki - No Pasaran!

William I am a ex UKIP member. I left the party when I found out all the dirty policies. How can I have blind hatred against UKIP when I use to be one of you?
I suppose you have to ask yourself this question ... If UKIPs policies where so bad to make a rich disabled person leave there party how is life going to be for a poor disabled person?

Liar.

You're a political activist for the Labour Party
Lol I seriously doubt most working class people are in favour of the "let it be" capitalism which UKIP endourse.

But they're largely unaware of UKIP's actual political alignment.

Why does it matter that he's rich? Do people really expect others to give all their money away before saying they have any legitimacy in raising awareness about inequality?

I don't have a problem with Champagne Socialists so long as they stick to Moet or whatever other nonsense they buy from Asda.

What was a rich disabled person doing being with UKIP to start with? :s-smilie:

Their policies were pretty clear on their website...

This video was cringeworthy. I really wish Russell Brand would drop it; he doesn't have a clue, but unfortunately people listen to him. :frown:

You...you have actually made a thread I agree with. What is going on?

But seriously, Brand is a hideous, hideous liar who turned to regurgitating A-level Sociology essays in an attempt to stay relevant and 'edgy'.

Out of interest, what has he done to be called a liar?

talk about the damage of wealth inequality and suffering of the working class while being a millionaire living a rockstar lifestyle lol

I always took his current socialist sketch as part of his routine.

Exactly how much is an acceptable amount of money to have where having those views isn't considered hypocritical in your eyes? To the nearest thousand is fine
Last time i checked he was attacking wealth inequality in the relation to multi-billion corporations, not people with a few million.

Controlled immigration is not the same as anti-immigration. Good god you lefties sure lack the brain power and intellect if you still don't understand what the word 'controlled' means.

No exact amount, but Brand wouldn't be so big without corporations backing him. In fact he's scapegoating an institution to avoid taking responsibility for his own part in promoting wealth inequality

Remember Brand was banned from British TV for a while with Jonathan Ross, got back in the USA then came back 'a new man', this is probably an attempt to 'rebrand' his image geddit

I do think he's probably somewhere on the road to recovery from the alcoholism, drugs and that though

I don't think he's the messiah some portray him to be.

He's just a naughty boy?
