Anyone hear about the new porn bans?

This will change very little in the porn industry. It only affects UK producers, and the majority of porn online is amateur. Not only that, but there's no backlash if people still watch British videos with these acts in because the amendment only seeks to punish the producers, not the viewers.

I definitely agree with banning things like fisting and strangulation, but the others like female ejaculation I find questionable. But as I say, very little will change as a result of this new amendment; it's just that some of the amendment is very strange.

Because our government seems to be full of prudes who are scared of people expressing and enjoying their sexuality.

It personally doesn't float my boat but I have no right to tell people it's not okay...and in my opinion the government has no right either.
i dont know why some of these things are listed (female ejaculation), but apart from that then im glad. porn doesn't need to be anymore than soft core porn. high speed internet porn is just one of those privileges that can and is being abused and the world can do without it.

of course im not saying this is going to help any of that but it is looking kind of towards the right direction.

If it's consensual what's the problem? Watersports for example, if you're into that & it's consensual then why should that be censored? And yes I know you can find plenty elsewhere but it's not the point.

But who are you to decide that for other people? Who are you to say what fetishes are acceptable?

loads of things are perfectly consensual, like **** eating or extreme masochism and many many other things. people will and are becoming desensitized to what is normal and more sexually dependent to what isnt normal, and that isn't part of a progressive society. there should be a lot more restrictions on porn in this day and age were 10 year olds can find easy access to fish enemas and other ridiculous crap that are literally just a few clicks away.
I don't get off from soft core porn. It's a total bore.

People with specific fetishes need that fetish to get off. Soft core porn doesn't offer that.

What is "normal sex"?? It's very different for everyone. Being strangled whilst having sex might be my normal, under the duvets lights off in missionary might be yours.

If I were to do your sex, I wouldn't enjoy it...

Who are you to say what is normal though?
And how is restricting porn progressive, in my opinion it is quite the opposite. Now obviously some thing should and are illegal, such as bestiality and child porn. But why does it matter if someone likes to watch spank porn? Or god forbid see a woman squirt?

Edit: as for the children being able to find porn, they'll be able to find soft core porn too. It's up to parents to parent their children properly not for the country to be denied their sexual freedom.

I think it's an outrageous infringement on civil liberties.

But then, it is understandable that MPs would do nothing to stop it. What MP is going to have the balls to stand up and say, 'Um, Mr Speaker, I personally believe we should let golden showers stay, ahem'?

More infringement on our freedoms under feminist pressure.

Feminism poses a bigger threat to our freedoms that any other ideology, primarily because unlike radical Islam, our government actually expresses active support for many of their extreme beliefs. Very worrying.

Highly doubt it has anything to do with feminism considering the new regulations are sexist given that it deems female ejaculation not okay to show in porn but male ejaculation is fine.

Feminists are at the forefront of the "ban porn" movement regardless of content.
