Best nostalgic videogame music?

For me whenever I hear the the 8 bit music of Lemmings (1991) it really causes an emotional reaction for me - as it was one of the first videogames I played at such a young age. I sometimes find myself randomly humming these songs even today:

1.

2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCWL8ES6KqM&index=15&list=UUyQukHgQf7Kdd35HjYQ3Ljg

3. Aladdin (1994)

4. Deus Ex 1 (1999) - I often get a lump in my throat when I hear this:

5. Diablo 2 (2000)

6. Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors (1999):

7. The most modern is this track from Mass Effect 2 - you really need to turn it up or listen in earphones cause I love every little beat and bass string in this track:

Edit: 8. Can't believe I forgot Monkey Island lol...

Pokemon Red without a doubt. The music of both the starting location of Pallet Town and the Pokemon Centre always invoke strong feelings of nostalgia for me.

This one is actually kind of crappy but I spent a lot of time playing Age of Empires 2 as a kid because it was my first PC game. This was the default music when starting a new map and I still listen to it more than 10 years later. :h:

For nostalgia purposes I prefer the AoK in game track:

I have no idea how many times I've heard it. At least a few hundred and probably more than a thousand for the AoC version.

Video game music is one of the things I get most nostalgic about for some reason. I'm not sure how to imbed videos, but basically any music from the Zelda games, especially Wind Waker, really gets me.

Get the URL for the video and then click on the little film icon (between the picture icon and speech bubble) at the top of the reply box, or, if on youtube, use the [ youtube] tags; as for the nostalgia, probably because the music sticks better than other stuff, I suppose partly because you hear it passively so much and because you can actively join in, and then you associate the gameplay or story or whatever with it.

Ermahgerd, some of the newer tracks are nice, but still miss this one (although not that much because the new version does sound pretty epic)

Something seemed to go wrong there, always easier to just use the buttons and let them do the formatting since you're not on mobile.

Ok, the tags used by the button is "video" rather than "youtube", although when I quoted one to have a look at the particular tags it displayed as youtube
