Eric Garner is a terrible poster child. He is far from being a perfect victim, which you need to be to enhance your chances of getting justice if you are black

First, Garner is Black.

You lose 70% of White support right there, right off the top.

Second, Garner has a criminal record. That makes it hard for Blacks to support him in a big way. It makes it hard for Whites to see his fate as undeserved.

Third, Garner was a Black man between the ages of 18 to 65. There is no way in hell Whites are going to see him as defenceless, not even if he is unarmed and outnumbered five-to-one by armed men. He is a Black Brute with Superhuman Negro Strength. HE is the threat, not the police. Every single time.

Fourth, Garner was a victim of the police. Whites are afraid of Blacks and depend on the police to keep Them down, to control Them. Blacks push for a strong Review Board but Whites oppose it.

Whites want to give the police a free hand when it comes to Black people. That is why the police are off the chain in the first place. It is not some accident, some overlooked, slip-through-the-cracks thing.

Lol people will call you all kinds of names, but this is 100% the reality.

Especially the point about a criminal record, it's always used so viciously against them. I think there are lots of closet racists on this thread who are trying to deny it's existence, and is somehow putting the onus on a disenfranchised community to stop getting killed by the police.

I'm White. I don't care what Black folk think about White people. I owe you nothing, just because some of your ancestors were slaves and a minuscule minority of world's white population owned slaves but so do many other people it just gets ignored.Needs to be said tbh.
a) He was able to talk a lot for someone who "couldn't breathe"
b) The coroner said there was no damage to his trachea, and the chokehold had no effect on his death.

He still died though? So what other explanation is there? The police officer is still at fault.

As do a lot of people who violently resist arrest.
Police brutality happens all around the world. This was an accidental death, not a hate crime. Stop letting narrow minded African-American bigots make everything about racial hatred. Just because they convey a black and white mentality, they believe everybody else does as well.
