Hi
I'm applying for Product Design and Technology at Loughborough and the course requires an ABB with at least a B in a design and technology course and that I'm studying maths. I got a B in AS level Product Design but overall I'm at an ABD with the D in maths. I've been told by my teachers that I work at A/B standard most of the time but I managed to mess up the exams and therefore didn't do so well. I was quite surprised to be offered an interview date and I'm wondering whether mentioning this would actually be beneficial in helping me get an offer, though I am retaking my AS level maths to try and get a higher grade. Should I try and bring some proof, e.g. January mock exam results, to show that I don't struggle quite so badly in maths as my exam results suggest?
Thanks, Calum.
