Yeah I did the same hahahaa  I uploaded everything about a week ago, then a couple of days ago they sent an email confirming they've received it, and that I will find out the final decision in a few weeks. Apart from that, I've heard nothing hahahaa, and what about you? Heard anything back?
How did you decide to choose the science programme instead of UCM? I ask because personally, I was really torn between the two.
Also, are you applying to any other programmes in the Netherlands?

Ah nice, fingers crossed you get a positive response soon! I've only just sent off my last document so hopefully I won't have to wait too long, Science Programme do interviews though! :s-smilie: it was actually the first one I looked into, after visiting University College Utrecht I realised I do want to have a specialism I can really go into detail with (biology) what about you? What courses are you looking to take? I haven't applied to any other Dutch unis, I'm applying through UCAS to UK unis too  and you?

Thanks, I hope you get one too! Yeah, UCM does the interviews as well  Its great that you already know what you want to do in terms of specialisation  Myself, I'm still trying to figure it out hahaaaa
But I absolutely plan to major in the sciences, but also really interested in all the social sciences courses on offer at UCM.
Which uni is your first choice?
I was really interested in UCU as well, but I only get my AS results on Jan 20, and their deadline is Feb 1, so there is a slight problem with the timing hahahaa

Do they do interviews for everything? How would they do it? Would you have to go over there or can they do it over Skype?

Do you think we'll be asked to visit Maastricht for the interviews? I'm honestly so worried about them! :/ yeah that's what's good about UCM I suppose, you can find out what you want to do! Where else have you applied? My first choice on UCAS is St Andrews, I haven't heard anything from them yet though
Oh how come you only get your results then? Haha that would be an issue

They do a matching procedure for every programme, I think. For some programmes, it takes the form of a matching questionnaire, and for others it takes the form of an interview. If you are a Dutch student or in the EU, then you have to go to the Uni itself for the interview and do it in person. But if you're a foreign/international student currently not living in the Netherlands, then it's either via Skype or telephone.
Have you applied or in the process of applying to UM? Which program are you interested in?

Are you in the UK? If yes, then you might be asked to go to Maastricht for it and do it in person (as you're relatively nearby). But for me, I'm in asia so probably I will get asked to do it over Skype or phone.
I'm considering applying to UCU as well, but that depends on what UCM says. Right now, the only place I've fully applied to is UCM hahaa
And it's a bit sucky, the college I'm at right now does A-levels in 18 months, not 2 years, so our exam timing is a bit unusual. I just did AS this last winter session, and will do A2 in abt 6 months' time in the 2015 summer session  That's why I'm getting the AS results so late hahahaa :frown:

Yeah! I'm in the Uk I'm thinking of doing my masters in healthcare policy, innovation and management. It wouldn't be a problem going over there if I needed to for an interview.

Yeah I am  ooh whereabouts in Asia do you live? Over phone or skype seems a little less intimidating :P
Ah I see, have you visited either?
Oh I've never heard it being done like that, fair enough though you finish a-levels in 18 months! :P

hahaa I live in Malaysia  Yes it does hahaaaaa, I'm glad for that. lol but that would be the worst time for a bad connection to happen!
No, I haven't visited either :frown: probably won't be able to since it's so far away hahaa
The 18 month thing is a nightmare , I'd much prefer it to be 2 years lol
On a side note, do you think we should start a new thread for Maastricht University Applicants 2015/2016? :P

Cool  haha it would be! Although if the interview was going badly you could just hang up... yeah that's true! Do you do AS over 6 months and A2 over 12 or something?
Yes we definitely should! I've already met a couple of other people applying

hahahahaaaaaa yeah and just blame it on a bad connection hahaaa:rolleyes:

In terms of the exams, I did AS over 12 months/1year, and going to do A2 over 6 months next year.
But for the syllabus coverage, we did AS from January to abt August, then we started A2. So basically, we started A2 before we even finished the AS exams hahahaaa

Alright, let's do it hahaa, I'll get on with setting it up
