Potential for 2 FA Cup games squeezed in there too.
This could explain why Brendan has filled the squad full of Europa League quality players, planned ahead for a nice long campaign through the EL trenches

Lambert is going to tear the EL apart.
Just realised we are 7 points away from relegation and 7 points away from top 4. Arsenal could send us down to relegation contenders....

I'm more worried about Bournemouth tbh. They will definitely get a result against us. I can see it so vividly.

7th Feb to 4th April. Carbon copy of what Arsenal had last year.

You're going to need a lot more than Sturridge coming back to navigate through that lot.

Yeah, we need a striker in January. The race for top 4 is done as far as I'm concerned, lets just get on with it and win the Europa. Blood Can in the league so he can beast it next year, hope the new striker can hit the ground running.

I can see us doing the treble this season.. We'll finish 17th in the league, and win the EL, FA Cup and League Cup. Calling it now.
Thoughts on the EL draw? Gladbach getting Sevilla is great for everyone else in it.

Don't get all the acclaim for DDG. He made one save. (the balotelli from 12 yards one) The rest you'd absolutely expect a top keeper to make. The problem was the finishing, not the GK playing like Navas did in the WC. Jones probably made the 2nd best save of the match from RVP.


Exactly what I feel like - credit to the keeper for keeping everything out but no matter how skilled the guy is in goal, players simply must score from those chances.
We had the chances we needed to win that game and we didn't take them - we just decided we'd rather gift you goals at the other end instead :smile:
