Farage didn't exactly win or lose in that QT. Hilarious as **** he had to set up the attack on Brand from the audience by using one of his UKIP members. How can you take him seriously.

OG TV programming

That's amazing. I read a similar story (probably from the DM as well) about some kid in the UK who made £41,000 selling sweets in his lunch break. I did that when I was 13 and I was delighted to make £41!

Brand didn't even need to organise some *****, he knows they always follow.

Farage is a fool. Some of his policies are decent but his party doesn't go past immigration. Country would crumble with them in charge, they wouldn't have a clue.

That's the thing, you can't actually vote for them. That's just insanity.

Btw on QT you know that person with the short grey hair at the top who asked a question, was it a man or a woman?

well turns out its probably BS; pending further proof.

even if the kid's parents gave him $100k (which they were unlikely to have) at age 9, he would have had to produce a 72,000% return on capital.

to put that into perspective, to return a 20% a year on capital is respectable for a professional; to return 40% a year on capital and you are doing amazing.

kid would be the best trader that ever lived. and to do this on your lunch break as well:rolleyes: just doesnt add up. 99.9% (if not 100%) of harvard business graduates couldnt do what he claims to.

You really dont have to be a racist to be concerned when for example 95% of the kids at your own childs school dont speak English at home

Nothing wrong with immigration in itself, problem is when you let all of the ****ing dregs in the world come in. Look at what is happening in Australia now for example, if these people are going to fight for unsavoury organisations abroad, they should be barred from ever setting foot in the UK again. So so many scumbags from around the world just getting a free ride here.

Exactly this. And that's why Farage appeals. For me British politics has waited 20 years for a party to be in touch with the electorate on the issue of Immigration, and at last it has arrived. UKIP aren't racist, they are just a sensible party in an era of political correctness gone mad.

And hey, immigration effects the working classes the most. That's why Miliband is doing a speech on immigration in London today. The reality is, right wing conservatives and staunch socialists, none of them like mass immigration, and quite right as well. Many feel we need immigration policies more right wing than the current UK Government. May and Cameron are just not tough enough for many voters.

Thing is, the people who have been banging the drum about how great mass immigration is tend to be millionaires who live in Primrose Hill. They dont have to worry about job competition or wage deflation from low skilled immigrants, they dont have to worry about the effects on their children's' schools because they go to private schools. In fact the only contact they have with immigrants are the nannies and gardeners they employ, at very reasonable rates and the 2% of immigrants who come as doctors, bankers etc and they get along famously with. They then spend their time eating in lovely exotic restaurants and feel a surge of smug pride at how 'tolerant' they are. These are the people who basically run the country and the major newspapers. They're not bad people, but they cant see how self interested and distant they are.

Meanwhile the builder who's found that his wages have been cut to shreds, that his kids' education is suffering, and that his local area has been culturally transformed overnight into something he's not familiar with is branded a Nazi for asking perfectly reasonable questions on why this is going on.

This whole UKIP thing has arisen simply because group A basically spent decades telling group B that they were wrong and basically to shut the **** up. That's the dichotomy at the heart of all of this really. Absolutely nothing wrong with immigration, but not like it has been over the last 20 years.

I don't care about immigration because if you work hard enough, a job is yours. It's an easy way out for lazy thick people who don't have a skill set.

Don't know if this belongs here but I just found out that Qatar literally means "country". So the 2022 World Cup is coming to Country.
