I think that the formula for the Trapezium Rule will be in the exam board's formula book. If you have never heard of that rule then perhaps you just haven't covered it yet.

Oh sorry I forgot to add: I know how to use the trapezium rule etc, I just don't know the difference between intervals and oordinates?

OK.

Ordinates, if you like, are the lines whereas intervals are the gaps between the lines. So if you have 6 ordinates you have 5 intervals. Does that sort you out?
