I thought since you preferred "cela" to "ça" and "nous" to "on" in written French, you'd naturally prefer "vous" to "tu".

Plus I like the fact that the vous form (excluding the passé simple or whatever it's called) ends in 'ez' or something like that.

Je peux parler sur la situation en Irak en anglais, si tu veux. Je n'ai que 16 ans, donc mon français n'est pas parfait (par exemple je n'ai jamais appris le subjonctif ou le "ne explétif" au lycée).

To defeat the Islamic State:
The new President must incorporate Sunnis, Shias, and Kurds under a properly representative government and settle disputes with Sunnis, and avoid alienating them.

Turkey must conclude its undergoing peace agreement with the PKK, so that its fighters , , who are capable of defeating IS, can move more freely to defend Kobani.

The United States must urgently increase funding to the FSA, before it totally collapses which would force us to choose between Assad and IS.

The Kurds must refrain from directly attacking majority Arab areas, to avoid tensions, and play a supporting role in these areas, and let Sunni tribes and the Iraqi Army opposed to IS do the work.

The Kurds should hand Kirkuk back to Arabs, and resolve tensions between the Peshmerga and the ostensibly allied, but brutal Shia militias (with the mediation of Iran).

Pour moi en ce moment, je me ressenti le chagrin d'amour et ca ce n'est pas un bon facon de commencer une nouvelle annee. Il y a quelques semaines j'ai rencontre un jeune mec qui est peintre comme moi, j'ai cru avoir beaucoup de points en commun avec lui. On a passé beaucoup de jours ensemble, et je me suis tombee amoureux tout a coup. Pour lui alors c 'etait un autre histoire. Il m'a traite mal et il m'a casse le coeur. Mais tandis que c ' est dur, je me mets a recouvrir peu a peu. Tant pis! La vie et dur mais elle et belle - comme j'ai la belle occasion de pratiquer Mon Francais ici! J'espere que quelques uns entre vous allez me repondre! Joyeux 2015!

Y a-t-il qqn ici qui puisse me recommander de forts musiciens francophones à part Stromae, Black M et Zaz? J'aime bien Stromae mais j'ai du mal à trouver d'autres musiciens francophones qui jouent au même niveau et qui chantent en français (grrr Daft Punk).
