Discussion for exam preparation AS English Literature Aqa lit B

Hi all i'm doing the AS English literature exam Aqa lit b unit 1- Aspects of Narrative: I've studied The novel Kite Runner, the drama/playThe importance of being Earnest, The play/drama Much Ado about Nothing, the poems My Last Duchess, The pied piper of Hamelin and The patriot all 3 poems from Robert Browning. As far as i'm aware i will be tested on The Kite Runner, And any of the 3 poems i studied can anyone enlighten me with resources for those following 4 topics, and also give a little insight on how to structure the paragraphs. My exam is in the 6th of January so i am really pressed for time! I appreciate any help thank you.

I'm new here in this website and i just wanted to hear people circulate some ideas here about some of the contents that could be added to my answer.
I'm doing the exam this summer too (Browning & Auden), why not just look at some model answers, read examiners reports, concentrate on the AOs, practice/plan some answers, make notes for the poetry questions which are really specific. This exam generally has low grade boundaries I think. Also do you know where I can find any good resources for Browning....

As for Robert Browning use your annotated Anthology for gathering your key ideas onto paper. I have Another question.. For the mock test i am doing this january i am told it's an open book test so i am allowed to bring in notes, does this include my Anthology or the book i studied the 'Kite Runner' could i bring them into the exam too? Thanks

I'm afraid I can't help you there :frown: Our school doesn't do mocks for english lit, however it seems likely you would be able to bring them in for the mock as that is what an open book test is, for the real exam we are given blank anthologies and copies of the book
Thank you for those links !!
