Spawn headlines about controversial breasts on the BBC. Make thousands of guys go to look only to experience bitter disappointment. Troll level: national scourge.

Just like lips, necks, ears, sometimes toes... I have my toes covered at the moment, but none of the rest. Better not put me on the BBC!

If you consider lips, necks, ears and toes to be inappropriate to show to the public, then cover them up too. Like I've said in a previous post on this thread, I haven't advocated covering up anything, because I think it's every person's own choice. You shouldn't be stopped from doing what you want with your body, just because a few ignorant, frigid people feel the human body is inappropriate and want to complain to the BBC about it.

If somebody walked onto a television set stark ******* naked, though, it would only reflect upon their character, and nobody else's. Most people have enough dignity and respect for themselves to appreciate their own privacy when it comes to their own body. People shouldn't be stopped from doing stripping off, though, in my opinion. It's the human body, after all. Being nude is how we multiply, so why do we repress it in this instance when Rita Ora isn't even fully showing an 'inappropriate' part of her body? It doesn't make any sense to me.

me ermm friend likes ladies' nostrils. he says that they are enticing little love caverns :colondollar:

in view of this the BBC should ensure that ladies do not expose their nostrils on screen.

Poor Fearne Cotton will never get to go on the BBC again.

The point is that just because it turns you on doesn't make it sexual, doesn't mean it should be covered or a case for it to be complained about and an apology made. I probably have more cleavage on show when I go shopping and I don't see the police pulling me up on public decency laws - because they don't apply in this situation.

I don't know why people are making such a fuss about it, breasts aren't actually a sexual body part anyway

And yet intolerant liberals still want page 3 banned.

Heard today that on the One Show has had 400 complaints about Rita Ora's outfit showing too much cleavage on show.

https://uk.celebrity.yahoo.com/gossip/omg/rita-ora-s-plunging-cleavage-on-the-one-show-sparks--hundreds--of-complaints-113748573.html

I don't see what all the complaints are about. From what I can gather all of the complaints have been made by women who are prudes and by people who have nothing better to do with their time than to complain about nothing. They say it offensive but I don't see how anyone can be offended.

What are your opinions?

I guess the mopey sad-sack complainers aren't morning people, they didn't seem to mind when 'This Morning' had a close-up view of a guys knob out and balls being fumbled, because apparently it's viewers needed a demonstration of how to check your nards for lumps.

basically I would hope society by now is sorta beyond petty issues with human flesh. It exists.

I didn't. A sex organ is an organ that you use to have sex (or that is part of the reproductive system), such as a vagina or a penis. Breasts aren't a primary sexual characteristic. They are a secondary sexual characteristic. Secondary sexual characteristics are things that you get when you go through puberty, such as a pronounced adams apple or breasts.

Just because some people are sexually attracted to breasts doesn't mean that they are sex organs. That is like someone going 'oh wow i really like shoulders, now nobody is allowed to have bare shoulders in case i get turned on'. Peoples feelings towards a pody part doesn't magically make that body part sexual.

sorry if my english is crappy, i'm super tired and ill.

There's something called erogenous zones.

Not really, the just-so story about why they evolved is because when we started walking upright (and also socialising sitting down) the buttocks were taken out of the male's eye line. So women with swollen breasts were favoured as they mimicked the buttocks.

On one hand it seems too simplistic but really I can't think of any other reason why swollen breasts should have evolved.

Of course milk and nipples do not have a sexual function, but boobs do. Their sexualisation is separate from the function provided by milk and nipples and so it isn't creepy.

It's thought that round breasts evolved to prevent smothering the child when feeding since our lips don't extend beyond our noses like other primates. The 'cleavage looks like an ass' hypothesis isn't really taken seriously as far as I know.

Sounds plausible, thanks!

Nipples aren't sexual? I'd...disagree.

ANYWAY. I think Rita looks great and those who complained must really have nothing better to do :s-smilie:

Like the neck, behind the ears, and the belly button, and the back of the knee and for some people on their feet...
The One Show has 400 viewers who can write? Surely not!

I think they need to chill a bit I mean she's got boobs so she's obviously gonna have a cleavage idk about this whole 'think of the children!!' attitude I mean what are the kids gonna do, look at her beasts combust into flames cuz they saw a bit of side boob. Her outfit wasn't even that raunchy anyway

I heard about that, I was surprised by the fact they allowed it yet if it had been something else such as the female equivalent then there would have been a ton of complaints. I don't get why something graphic is acceptable yet a little bit of cleavage gets 400+ complaints.

Exactly. Breasts are used in foreplay, and foreplay is a sexual activity.

But they don't take part in reproduction

How is that relevant to the word 'sexual'?
it was just a bit of cleavage, get over it.
I'm just angry I can't bury my face in that rack.
