Sorry, but if you look at the propaganda in the Arab world from Imams and publications there is glorification of a 'Muslim Crusade' against the west. They take hate crimes in the west and use it to further their agenda.
so? so they won't be succsesful with their agenda otherwise? they intend to win a demographic and cultural victory. they do not want a mass escalation of violence resulting in war. that would likely be the end of islam's prospects in europe.
it all dying down until the next terrorist attack and it gradually becoming the norm and islam being feared is what they want as it furthers their agenda of islam gradually becoming a major power within europe.
People forget easily that these types of attacks happen to Muslims also.
I mean just last month the shooting in Peshawar which killed 142 people, 132 were children.
Is it logical for the people of Pakistan to go out and bomb mosques etc, in protest of these terrorists?
that was an attack by the taliban.
however the taliban are at war and all is fair and love in war. the pakistani military had hit the taliban very hard before the school attack and naturally the taliban hit the military where it hurt the most. it was a powerful act of revenge.
it was very tragic but it is the least that the military could expect.

Perhaps, I'm just highlighting that the influentially forces which actually matter in the Arab world do want a holy war, not a slow peaceful cultural victory.
And its often these people who influence the moderates and others.
Most Germans were peaceful, but it was the Nazi's who drove the forces which ended in the deaths of 60 million people, the peaceful majority didn't matter. Most Russians were peaceful, but they managed to kill 20 million people, the peaceful majority didn't matter. Most Chinese were peaceful, but they managed to kill 70 million people, the peaceful majority didn't matter. Same with Japan, most Japanese were peaceful, but it didn't stop the army from gunning its way through south east Asia killing 12 million people, the peaceful majority didn't matter.
Same with Islam, it's the 15-25% radicals who want a holy war which matter, not the rest which quietly hope that Europe will peacefully be annexed culturally and demographically. Which is why I raised the point originally. It's this group which needs our focus.
Because it's the reaction (wrongly IMO) to a terrorist attack
Cartoons should be the measured response
Honestly you can class the reactionary attacks as terrorism. They are attacks on the civilian population of France to further a political (anti-Islam) goal.

Only if you stretch the term really really looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong.

Not really. The only real argument you could make is that a reactionary attack is sufficiently different enough from a planned attack like in Paris - and that difference is enough to call on terrorism and the other not.
I disagree with the above however.
While Islam has a massive monopoly on terrorism in the Arab world and the west, it doesn't hold all of it.
I don't see that happening quite the oposite in fact I see people going out of their way to say 'it ain't so'
But is that all you expect people to do about muslims murdering people with a gay abandon? (the indecent yesterday is tiny in comparison to the muslims murdered by their fellow brothers in the same day)
