AQA A2 Kc help.

If at temperate t1 the reversible reaction 2NOCL----->2NO+Cl2 kc expression is 7.4 x 10^-3 why is it that the Kc expression for the reversibl reaction NOCL ----->NO + 0.5Cl2 at temperature t2 is the root of Kc from the reaction at T1?

i know from t1 to t2 the moles is half, but why do we have to root kc from the 1st reaction in order to get the value of Kc for the other reaction?

Put the values into the equilibrium law expression for both equations and you should see why ...
