It's a primitive thing, of course he would feel more comfortable with the regular white man.

He'd be most comfortable with a series of very hot girls, but I'm still here.

It may be primitive, but the very real nature of the fact he controls whether or not your mortgage gets paid this month probably outwrighs that.

I'm 6'2, 14 stone, fairly built. My boss is 5'4 and fat little ******.

Does he feel threatened by me? Does he chuff, because I would be utterly ****ed without him, he would barely notice if I left.

In a work environment alpha-beta does not work the same. The experienced, wealthy guy with the authority to fire you on the spot, who could do your job blindfolded with his hands tied behind his back, is not going to feel threatened by a recent graduate.

i think too many youth get carried away with the term 'alpha' . in the real world, alpha characteristics are determined by our level of intelligence and charisma /drive, thats what separates humans from the animal kingdom where simply being heavy = being 'alpha'

Pretty irrelevant when men like that actively discriminate against minorities in the recruitment stage anyway...

It's the mentality that is the problem. That they feel threatened as men by guys who just want to earn a living. My mate Dave is a black guy with a top London uni degree and he looks like he is built from bricks, could play American football if he wanted to... gets nowhere. He is more than well qualified for these jobs. In fact we even set up a profile with the exact same qualifications and answers for the online questions. That one passed, because there was a white name.
There are closed doors everywhere, I have a white name and surname but i think they have serious reservations about me when they see me . I get interviews easily but everytime bar once they have said no, I have had many many interviews since graduation.

There are plenty of black and other minority young professionals in London doing pretty well for themselves.

Ok firstly about the whole alpha male thing... Well anyone who walks around proclaiming themselves 'alpha' makes me chuckle. It sounds very entitled and one had best have very good grounds to do so! I suppose the key here is 'alpha looking' they can look alpha all they want but where is the merit in that if they only look the part but are not at the top of their game? And I'm sorry to say but a lot of people who bulk themselves up have done so from a place of insecurity so beyond the superficial it proves nothing. This is not the wilderness where men have to prove their physicality to survive and provide them with worth..

If someone thinks they are intimidating everyone then people will twig onto that and indeed it's self-fulling prophecy right there.

I am half black. My father is a 6'3" black man (naturally) well built man from Cuba who faced very open racism more than this generation can dream of growing up in the 80s and instead of focusing on his race he focused relentlessly on his goals and now he is on top! He never boo-hooed about it... If an application failed he didn't question if it was his Spanish sounding name or his physical presence but he would just set the bar high for his next application and look deeper. Now this is just my opinion I'm aware adversity exists of course but I think that (some) black people need help themselves first and foremost and stop pulling the race card because it only serves to take their power and responsibility for their own lives away and start taking action.

If you can't take it from me then maybe Morgan Freeman can help as he said the best way to deal with race it to 'stop talking about it' and take action to empower our own lives as individuals!

Yes there are probably statistics which show that BME men have it worse in terms of employment and promotions but is your friend going to be just another 'black man' or is he going to take his power back? And how about yourself?

Good luck!
I will however stress that if you are well built with tatoos, you will never land a decent job.

E.g. Those that bodybuild, those that look like they can lead and have a dominating presence. Is that what goes against the BME man of those characteristics trying to get a respectable office job? Let's assume the hypothetical guy has good enough credentials or even exceeds those the job descriptions/person specification asks for.

I have a very utilitarian mindset.
so I couldn't care less about your race when it comes to the efficiency of the office unit.

Nothing wrong with a bit of working out. However there are two types of common character types that body build. Both build from a place of insecurity and ego. But both have two very different reactions. There those who have body dysmorphia. They see a skinny weak boy everytime they look in the mirror no matter how much they build. These guys tend to be very humble and really kind hearted. Then there are those who build for the attention seeking of others. Think beauty queens but the male equivalent. The level of ego on some of these men can border on dangerously delusional and they may have senses of entitlement that do not exist in civil society. This is essentially a macho diva.

now there are other types. but those are the main two I've come across in my experience

Another thing that may add an additional layer to the body building is the minority status of the person creating an inferiority complex that leads to paranoid hostile reactions.

So those are common tell tale things to watch out for. but at the interview you will truly see how someone is.

I know a few body builders who are black who are incredibly humble and level headed.

So if a black male body builder with great cv came to an interview things are looking good. only test now is the interview to see how he is as a person.

now you mention dominating presence. this is very subjective and could be or mean or indicate many things.

Now I've actually employed people before. not for office roles but other roles.

something that I looked for in people is either that they were quiet geniuses, charming or just generally good with people. You don't have to be amazing but just not be socially inept to the point that your causing problems amongst the team.

some things I cannot stand are arrogance and being a smart arse.
especially in the interview stage. if your being cocky and arrogant or being a smart arse in the interview then god knows what your going to be like in the work place.

as long as your a gentlemen with good manners and etiquette then theres no problem.

so nothing would be an issue with what you'd mentioned other than the dominating presence.

what i look for in people is those who do not cause friction and disturbance in the work place. people that follow orders don't cut corners and are trustworthy and reliable.

If he believes he is being 'actively discriminated' against then he should sue them, that's blindingly obvious.

Since i didnt make myself clear, and you CANNOT possibly know what i meant from what i wrote.
I will tell you that i meant, jobs that require candidates to interact with customers frequently.
And not that type of interaction behind the phone either.
Besides, how do you know he wasn't required to get a tattoo to portray a tough guy in a film?
Then decided to keep it.

I am a BME best thing to do if you're BME in this country is to be self employed/start your own business forget about working for racist ppl, I'd say create your own opportunity, find ways to make your own money

people, especially young people who have accomplished very little in their chosen careers, who consider themselves 'alpha' in the workplace because they lift weights are, pretty much to a man, complete bell ends. this is probably where your pal is going wrong.

if I want an employee who spends too much time in front of a mirror I'll hire a pretty girl
The industrial hierarchy is not quite the same as the evolutionary hierarchy. As Le Nombre said there are instead corporate alphas. The employees are all betas in their professional respect. The laws of the jungle cannot apply on a mechanised job. Compare it to the way that the gorilla and the orang-utan have to work together to climb to the top of the palm tree and find directions (hypothetically).

This is why we have hot women who date fugly men for their money and power-hypergamy. Financial and emotional security.

PLay natural evolutionary roles in the privacy of the bedroom, this is what hetero-women desire. But equally they desire, and society values, adherence to the rules of the public and professional sphere. You are a drone, now shut up.

ah the popular 'victim of race' argument. Suggest you read Ellison's 'Invisible Man' for further study of this

A recent RedPillWoman I was in contact with agreed with not letting racial discrimination be an excuse. I call this the principle of hyper-accountability, when you set yourself responsible for everything remotely within your internal locus of control, never external forces working against you.

Don't be blue pill mate, I know that you think corporate success will mean women will like you. But really all they will want is your money whilst making you a cuckold (either in her mind or in practice).

2 strikes one more you're out. Read the edit, in the home follow evolutionary alpha, in the corporate world you are beta, or you will lose your job, and se does not give a **** if you lose your job, she only cares about your money-you said so yourself ^^^-so you better give up on your ****ing principles and do your ****ing job. So capitalism made a cuckold of us all.

Genuinely think you are the type that would open fire on randomers at a shopping centre

Not just about money, its about the man that can give the most value overall and also stimulate her mentally. If a guy loses a job but is hot in bed and makes her happy, she'll stay. If a guy is butters and makes her happy (but has lost his job) she is more likely to stray. So, not all get cuckolded. Think you're going to have to convince your dad to let you eat more food otherwise you are staying in virge land mate.

Black and Minority Ethnic (like POC - People of Colour). Because for whatever reason, someone somewhere decided that people that fall under that category need a group label. Of course it's totally not marginalisation.

Thats laughable theres actually a group category callef BME lol
