I've received offers from Leicester, Kent and Royal Holloway all for ABB and was wondering if anyone had any insight into which is best? I'm so torn between them all!

'Best' in what way? The answer is likely to be different for different people.

As in course wise and location, just an overall. All opinions would be appreciated

Regarding the course, it comes down to what you want to study. Go through the module listings in detail and write down what you would choose to study in each term/semester. Look at any restrictions which might be in place such as 'must take at least one medieval and one modern module' or whether there is almost a free choice, e.g. at Kent. Take particular note of any specialisms within the department, e.g Holloway contains the Holocaust Research Centre headed by the renowned Peter Longerich. Does one course stand out?

Given that all are offering ABB there is probably little between them in terms of that nebulous concept 'reputation'. Personally I would regard Holloway as fractionally better, but that is a gut feeling rather than based on particular evidence. One advantage which Holloway does have, however, is that you can take modules at other London University colleges such as King's, LSE or UCL.

As for loction, that is very much up to you. I've visited Kent and it is a lovely campus on the edge of an attractive city. I have never been to Holloway and my only experience of Leicester is watching the latest series of Freshers on ITV2!
