Straight Econ.

I applied Cambridge, Warwick, Nottingham, Exeter, Bristol

Got AAAC at a level in Eco, Maths, Accounts, Computing
predicted A*A*AA in Eco, Maths, Accounts and AS Further Maths

I was ambitious with my Uni choices because in my mind 2 offers and 3 rejections is the same as 5 offers since you need to shorten it down to 2 anyway.

So far have offers from Nottingham and Exeter, waiting on the other 3.


Oh congrats thats not a bad position at all!
It's kinda weird because on the 'which' site it shows a higher percentage of offers from straight Econ over econometrics with economics for Exeter I believe.
To all those going to cambridge what type of questions were you asked at your interviews? Also is it important to read economics related books, newspapers, the economist etc and how much knowledge is required? Thanks!

P.S Congratulations to everyone for receiving offers from LSE,Exceter, Warick etc as well as cambridge !!!

I really want to get in to Warwick to study Economics but I'm beginning to doubt whether or not I can get an offer. I got 4As at AS, predicted 3A got rejected from Durham. Average grade for Warwick and Durham are Like A*A*Aaa. I wouldn't get your hopes up

Murray Edwards, A*AA (which from where I'm now seems like an okay offer, but we'll see closer to exam time :tongue:)
