You use J'essaye? A few French people on Wordreference (click for the thread) say that it's more common to use J'essaie other than in the nous and vous form.

Georgeandbertie: Sorry for the mistake regarding en forme / la forme. I got confused with Rester en forme - To stay in shape

Bothh are correct and "j'essaie" is indeed a bit more frequently used.
However I prefer "j'essaye" because it is closer to the infinitive "essayer" and to the pronunciation. I personally pronounce the -y-, but some people don't. It's the same with "payer".
French is so tricky :biggrin:
