How do you unlock threads ?

How do you get your threads unlocked and how does a thread get locked ?

1. requires moderator privilege on your account - if you're not a moderator you'll need to ask a moderator to do it for you.

How on earth is my post on attractive female terrorist offensive to a moderator ?
You can ask mods to unlock them. They can be locked if they reach 10,000 posts, (in which case, you're free to start a new thread) if the thread is old, (again, you can start a new thread) or if the thread breaks the rules.

If a thread does reach 10,000 posts, a lot of mods will post that threads have reached 10,000 posts and you are free to start a new thread.

You want to know why your thread was closed?

How about because it was glamorising terrorism and admiring a known terrorist.
