How strict are universities on Secondary Math Education?

Hi All,

I'm applying to Edge hill university, but they want a B at maths AS level. I'm wondering what the chances will be if i get a C at AS?

If a university specifies a grade, it's usually what they want. Call and ask. It's also important to note that that is the level at which they think you need to be in order to cope with the course, so you would struggle with less.
