If so, then I'd say KPMG is better, mainly because Accenture and Capgemini are IT consultants.

That's half true. Accenture and Capgemini are IT consultants in the same way that KPMG is an audit firm.

All three primarily do something else with the bulk of their business, but all three also have separate management consulting divisions that are not related to that core business activity. Another way to look at it - Capgemini used to be EY not so long ago, and Accenture was Arthur Anderson way back when.

In terms of quality of work, it honestly depends on the service line and industry. Same goes for reputation, although for general name value I might rate Accenture and kpmg above capgemini.

As for pay at the graduate level, I believe accenture pays more than the other two.

I would still consider Accenture's MC better than the other two though... KPMG isn't really a player at all in MC, it is arguably the worst of the big four in terms of consulting whereas Accenture has an increasing and reputable MC division. Its tech consulting is big but it isn't purely specialised in IT to the extent of Capgemini or IBM.

Plus it offers the best pay in my opinion - 31k + 10 sign on bonus over first two years. So basically 36k starting salary and after the two years you're probably looking for promotion so looking at 45k ish after two years, which seems more appealing than KPMG or Capgemini.

Very similar to Cap, which pays 35k y1, 36k y2, mid 40s on leaving program 18-24 months in. Bear in mind Cap has an entirely separate management consulting brand, unlike say IBM. Undoubtedly they don't promote themselves well enough in the graduate market though.

are you sure KPMG= 32k? isn't that only for the Strategy Group?

Not sure no - just my vague memory from 2 years ago. You think it pays less than 32k? Bear in mind big 4 pay differently in London to regions, so that might be it.
