Isn't the graph the same shape as e^x? What does it mean when it says there is a range of 5? It crosses y axis at 5?

It is a transformation of e^x

No, it means that there is an asymptote at y=5

I don't seem to reach a value for h, only that -lambda + k = 3 then the equations go back to square one
