My gerbil is dying :(

I don't like seeing animals suffer :frown:

You could kill it. That way the gerbil won't suffer. Put him/her out of misery.

Or just let suffer prevail.

Well, the little furry critters live life so fast, it'll probably not suffer long.

Hoping he will be dead by morning. When they start to go they do go fast.

Flush it down the loo.
Awww, that's sad to hear :console: I don't know what else I can do to help really apart from say that it the pain will eventually subside & try & stay strong at such an obviously distressing time! :h:
:cry2: I know that feeling.
That why i made a 'No more pets' rule.
But currently, i have a kitten and a little chick.:unimpressed:

Aw I'm really sorry to hear this! It's always hard to see pets dying, but unfortunately it's an inevitability. If you can, see if you can have it put down by the vet. It's nicer to do that than let them suffer. It's perfectly natural to be sad, I bawled my eyes out when my cats were put down, and while it's really cliché, it's honestly true that it's better than him continuing to suffer.

I highly doubt he will make it through the night. All gerbils I have had died pretty soon after they exhibit the signs this one is showing.
