So Abu Hamza should be free to preach where ever he wants?

Material that radicalises people to join ISIS is ok to publish in papers?

Yes it should. However, we as a society also have a right to stand up against it and publish articles against it. Trying to control free speech through the media is extremely dangerous. I have no issues with Abu Hamza talking to a newspaper trying to reach out to people and getting them to become radicals. If anything it will only go to further show what a deluded person he is. I also have no issue with people questioning him or going to the media to shoot him down. People should always be prepared to be challenged regardless of what they're stating.

A university is with adult students, a school is not.

a lot of 17 year olds in universities th0
if a uni deems it inappropro content, that's their choice too

Then they cover them and make sure people who buy porn are 18 or above. There are also lots of 17-year-olds in the street. They are not the overwhelming majority in a university.

It would be the university's choice, but if you have read the OP and follow the discussion, you will realise that this has nothing to do with university but the students' union.

This is blatantly offensive, a heinous picture, it should obviously be treated like pornography and Holocaust images.

Both. Some people are ethnically Jewish but don't follow the religion, and vice versa.

There are absolutely no problem whatsoever to attack the Jewish religion, but it is very different if you attack the biological features of an ethnicity (the culture can still be criticised - being Chinese is not a religion but features of the culture can still be criticised).

I thought there was no such thing as a biological underpinning of Jews as you can find in black/white/east asian people.

How is a cartoon of a long-dead historical figure bigoted or xenophobic?

Yeah, they're not bigots they're just intolerant of controversial views that may hurt their feelings.

We all originated from the same origin so race is a spectrum, Jewish people interbreed quite a lot so they do have distinctive facial features.

Regardless, I do not personally consider Jewish a race but an ethnicity. American, Singaporean, and Hongkonger are ethnicities even though they racially would be considered Caucasian/white or oriental/Chinese.

It's more than a cartoon.
Not surprised at UoB pulling that trick. Nothing but gutless faggots in BS8.

Yeah some lady on This Week had the nerve to call it racist without justifying how it's racist but all the other religious images and pictures of people somehow aren't racist.

Yeah. It represents Muslims' victim complex and the need to be treated different from, what Mehdi Hassan describes us, animals.
