Help with Stats Question!

Could anyone explains these question, especially 'a' and 'b', Ive tried everything...

You say that you have tried everything ... Can you give some idea of what you actually have tried

I am new to stats and I've been mainly trying to work on how you get 2/33 for the second part.

However for the first part am I've got many ideas, such as it has to be 100% as there has to be males on both stalls as there is 8 and 6 on each stall?

That is correct for b

If you chose MMFFF do you know what the probability of that is?

I was thinking something like...

((1/2x2/8)+(1/2x3/3))/11 but I know this is wrong.

I cannot imagine where you got that from

I didn't get the correct answer so I assume its wrong but.

((1/2x2/8)+(1/2x3/3))/11

2 out of 8 male and 50% chance of going into one stall of the other

3 out of 3
and 50% chance of going into one stall of the other

divided by 11 as that is the total amount of people
