Finally another school that actually studies Ideologies! :P

We're currently on Socialism but we're studying Marxism and now Leninism, is this normal? The spec seems quite basic but I do feel that we are spending too long learning about stuff that will not come out in the exam.

At my college we've done:

Unit 3 - Conservatism, Socialism, Nationalism
Unit 4 - Nationalism

CURENTLY(just started)
Unit 4 - Feminism, Multiculturalism

What about you?
my school has done liberalism anarchism socialism and conservatism,

starting feminism and nationalism now

does anyone else feel like they just need to spew out learnt paragraphs from the andrew heywood 'political ideologies' book to get a good grade, i'm finding it pretty dry, there isn't much room for opinion, mostly theory...

i have a teacher that literally does not teach at all. she expects us to know everything when she hasn't even taught us the topic. i have no idea how to revise for political ideologies as i basically have to each some units myself and i'm starting to panic. :/

Surprised you didn't do Liberalism. Apparently its hard to learn the other ideologies without learning liberalism because liberalism falls into it so much

How many are you learning for the exam from each unit?

I meant Liberalism, I put Nationalism twice by mistake

I'm thinking 3 from each, probably leaving Socialism from Unit 3
But unit 4, currently I'm not sure. You?
