Wow, wtf, that sounds excessively harsh. Regarding the sports thing, are you fat? Maybe if you didn't look fit, they felt you didn't play sport.

I was thinking the same thing as you about the admissions tutor; surely if you got invited, your PS couldn't have been that poor.

No, but you don't necessarily have to be really lean for this activity anyway. Even so, they should've just asked me about what I have learnt from it rather than questioning whether I actually do it. I just don't understand why I didn't get any actual medical questions. I couldn't show off my motivation for medicine at all, so I'm pretty sure I scored weak for that.

Yeah I got an invitation pretty early for 3 of my unis so I know my PS is quite decent. But for some odd reason they just didnt like me from the moment I stepped in.

Knowing me, I'll probably start revising the day before each exam, fail to get my Birmingham offer and come to Imperial anyway. In all seriousness, I'm not fully decided on who to firm yet since I wasn't really expecting to get offers from both Imperial and Birmingham.

What did you do during your gap year?
Probably (95% sure?) firming. Still waiting for replies from UCL and Queen Mary.
