Doing English and History... not boring but v writing-heavy. Sociology is interesting and Economics kind of depends on your interest in big issues like the global economy.
The only advice i would offer you is make sure you enjoy the subjects. If you don't enjoy the subjects then you wont feel motivated to do the work, let alone turn up to lessons or study.

Be careful if you're aiming for a certain degree that these subjects may limit you. They're very good at something essay-based, but probably not much else.
If you enjoyed English Lit and History at GCSE and basing your A-level decision on them then be aware they may be very different at A-level. Have a look at the books you'll be studying for English, and the periods of time for History. If you don't like what you see then regardless of what others say they will be boring.
For Sociology and Economics have a skim through the syllabus. They may not be like what you expected them to be.
Also keep an eye out for other things like how much coursework is involved, if that sort of thing puts you off. Ask previous students/students in higher years of their opinion if you know any.

I already study History, sociology and English Literature for GCSE i enjoy studying them. Economics i don't know much about but my cousins have done it and they really enjoyed it but she told me that it depends on what i'm interested in. I would like to study English literature for AS only. I really don't know what to expect for ECONOMICS, i hope i enjoy it.
