Do I need to retake AS Chemistry?

I did 5 subjects for my AS, I am currently doing 3 A-levels dropping Further Maths and Chemistry. I was planning on taking a gap year where I would reapply to better universities for Economics, but as I got a C in Chemistry I was wondering if this would affect my chances of getting into these unis, or if redoing Chemistry would just be a waste of time.

What did you get in further maths? That's more relevant to economics.

But it is worth improving your grades, regardless of the subject. I don't think you'd be wasting your time.

I don't agree.

I think 3 strong A levels are more important than worrying about a grade C at AS; what did you get in Further Maths?
