I feel fine about myself thanks - I was joking! I just don't have any particular wish to attract those less than half my age. Not really something that interests me :smile:

I think i'll be forced to start uni at 19 rather than 18

Now if I went at 18 I wouldn't care about anyone on my course being younger or in in their late twenties, idc if they're my friends and 1-2+ years older or younger but if I was starting uni at 23 I wouldn't like the majority of the people in my course 1-2+ years younger and i'm older basically it would make me feel uneasy, okay i'm going to feel uneasy ( if I) start uni at 19 ( even though I have no problem talking/being friends with younger people)

I don't know why I feel this way

If I decided to do a second degree I wouldn't care though

Ik they do but I didn't really want to

I'm doing my gcse's at 17 rather than 16 ( forced, for the better I guess but yeah -_-)

I'm not looking forward to being the 17 year old in year12 and the 18 year old in year13 ngl -_-

Idk why I feel like this but I do. Stupid but I really can't help it

Have no problem being friends with people a year younger or two but for things like sixth-form/uni I don't really want to be a yera older than the majority of people on my class/course

Even if I did my gcse's/ a-levels at the 'right' age and failed and had to take a yera back, I would be upset but if I knew I tried my best then I tried my best and I wouldn't be angry or upset with anyone else, it's my fault .

If I decided I wanted to take a gap year at 18 in the end/start AS levels at 16 and then move to btec at 17-19 then start uni/ or decided to drop out of uni and then go back then I wouldn't care because it's my choice?

Ik nothing can be done but still I can't switch the feeling off ( but I fele better about it than I did )

Idk maybe if I go uni, in the second/third year I won't care and think why did I even feel like that before, so stupid

Wish I could think like this now but I can't idk why

Really it doesn't matter at all I mean no-one really asked me what gcse grades i have got they don't care and I dont care about their grades tbh but still.... feel like this

24 is not old at all. What planet are you on? Lol. I am 22, I started university when I was 21 and I fit in socially and absolutely fine - I have even made a few friends there! Rather than discourage her, I wouldn't say anything unless you have something positive to say. There is funding for 25+, but if she wants to go for it then good on her. Just wish her luck! That's not much to ask, is it? :smile:
