I'd have loved it if instead they just balanced it out by putting a nude guy on page 4. In fact, I might have even started buying the waste of paper even just for a laugh :colone:

In all seriousness though, I think that what this is really about is the paper's reputation as a valid source of information which, let's be honest, is probably pretty high on the Sun's priority list. They're probably seeing a sharp decline in sales as a lot of the population is fairly well educated now and understandably a bit confused as to what place soft porn has in a national newspaper.

Attention now needs to go more onto newspapers like the Daily Mail which routinely objectify women, feature papps of very young girls and focus on their sexual features, whilst at the same time condemning paedophilia. We should also ban lads mags from prominent supermarket shelves and so on.

can we get rid of thier female equivalents as well?

The sexualisation of men in the media is stupid too.

BUT it happens to more than women and a newspaper is not the place for porn.

Page 3 is not porn hard or soft. Its a topless woman not an actual or simulated sex act.

Its most legitimate flaw is that the airbrushed and photo shopped women in it create unrealistic images of the female form.

Oh well its gone, all those horny spotty teenage boys will now pick up thier smart phone and google a hundred images instead of just the one

Women posing with their tits out is soft porn.

Once again can everyone stop quoting me because I'm responding to the same stuff over and over and it keeps getting personal and I don't want to do it anymore thanks

And in reality what place did it ever have in a national newspaper?

Saw the great Ronnie Barker joke on the news last night:

"Bring me the Sun will you."

"Oh and something to read as well."
If they'd get rid of all their other pages we'd be on Easy Street.
ahahahahahhahahahahah it's back already with the headline "we had a mammary lapse"

Can't wait to see the reactions of all the idiots who thought they were modern day Emmeline Pankhurt's on twitter.

So happy  will no longer have to sit next to people in the bus or tube leering over tits.

Sucks feeling objectified every day.

Are you really so self-absorbed to take personal offence from a man objectifying another woman - who has chosen to be objectified? What is it with women and crowd mentality?

Absolutely. Because The Sun has always gone the extra mile to be seen as a reliable and impartial source of news in every other respect. Oh, wait...

I have no time for publications like the Sun but this is a wonderful piece of trolling
I can't help wondering if in Murdoch's twisted, scheming, reptilian brain, this is meant to be some sort of evidence that he doesn't control the editorial policy of his newspapers. That's always a worry with the regulators. I suspect we will see him waving his hands in the air at some point soon, saying "I told them to ditch it, they wouldn't listen". Yeah, like hell.

I do think the Sun ought to be withdrawn from sale now from all family locations like supermarkets, they are peddling blatant porn.

I think you shouldn't be allowed to post on a public forum where people from families can see your views. I disagree with them.

For the millionth time can people please stop quoting me? I no longer want to be part of this discussion because it's horrible and keeps getting personal.

Stop making personal comments about me and just be civil.

Storing them more than five feet above the ground would probably be equally effective.

Let's be honest about the issue of children inevitably seeing the soft porn, the only families that buy the Sun are the faggy ones who've force fed their kiddies carbon monoxide and ethanol during gestation, completely obliterating any chance they had in life anyway.
they are back !!!
