To be honest at 21 the graduate and the non-grad will probably be expecting about the same, assuming roughly equal ability. The graduate has a degree, the other guy should have ~3 years experience which can be enough to make up for it in the short term. The grad will improve faster.

Which is?
15K lol! JSA life
20-25k a year would be an excellent salary for a 21 year old. I doubt many will be on that kind of wage though...I know I'm certainly not!

For a 21 year old outside London I would say it's quite good. Nothing amazing.

I don't have an opinion on London salaries/cost of living.

sick job  what do you do exactly?
I'd say £1k for each year of your age (give or take a little). So around £19-22k would be about right, but obviously it depends on everything.

Average grad salary six months after uni is £19k. That includes those in London.

'Good' is very personal. £19,100 is above average and hence 'good'. My marker on graduation was that £27k or more would be 'good'.

I'd kinda agree with Reue's numbers.

Dunno what the point of asking is, you get what you get. Knowing what other people thing is 'good' is pretty pointless unless you want an ego trip because you're on £40k+.

Would be good to hear your opinion too!

Sorry man, no idea what you do.

My first real job was a placement (got paid 15k). After that I left Uni and got a 30k job writing software.
