You can enter by posting your goals in this thread! Puddles the Monkey will PM you on Monday about verifying your current grades, and in the meantime, you can set up your blog by making a thread in the Grow your Grades forum, and get discussing in the discussion thread!

Okay Great!

So My subjects include

It may be good to add in your current grades, but you could also do that in your blog!
Hi I'm currently an AS student studying: biology, chemistry, use of maths and psychology.
These are the grades I hope to get:
Biology: A
Chemistry: A/B
Use of maths: A
Psychology: A
7a* for all 7 subjects
Would love to get AAA and study chemistry with drug discovery
Hi. I want to get my physics grades up to an A*. I'm doing AS, but at my school an A* is a high A. I'm currently getting As in physics- I'd like this to be an A* by the end of the year.
I'm doing maths AS and A2 this year. I'd like to get an A* in it. Currently I'm getting A/Bs in C3, so to get that up to an A would be great

Hello!! I'm really hoping to get 'okay' grades in my subjects! (AS Levels) Right now, my target grades seem to be an unlit lamp at the end of the tunnel T^T (The subjects are very interesting but it's hard getting my mind around it)

If anything,

I would LOVE to have some revision advice for PSYCHOLOGY (Ahh, my weakest subject...) I find this subject the hardest to revise/study. (Aim... Method, Fiiindings... Wait, what? HOW DO I REMEMBER THIS)

Thank you for reading!! And I hope you'll help me TwT (Please)

Hello! With Psychology, the best thing to do is summarise all your notes, and practice answering essay and exam questions under timed conditions as timing is a big downfall for everyone.
For your evaluation, to get into the top bands, always do P(point).E(evidence) E(explain).L(Link)>>>linking back to the theory is very important! Always link back!
For AS, you can learn the General evaluation points: Methodological problems: lab, case study etc and know weaknesses and strengths of them as they can be used for mostly every theory
Use specialised times like reductionist, gender bias, ethnocentric etc

These methods got me A in AS, (88UMS in U1&2)
Good luck
Really good website: www.loopa.co.uk
Has resources for AQA A psychology that are really useful.
I am currently an AS student studying: ICT, RS and media studies, these are the grades I hope to get,
ICT- A (got a B at GCSE)
RS - A (got a B at GCSE)
Media Studies - B
Think I should probably enter this! Definitely in dire need of motivation. My current grades are definitely lower than I would like, which particularly showed in my mocks which were two weeks ago. I am currently in year 12 so am studying AS

My current (rough)/aim grades are:

Maths (AS+A-Level in one year)- E/A*
Chemistry (AS)- C/A
Physics (AS)- D/A
Economics- D/A

Current grades based on my mocks and aim grades based on what I need to achieve in order to study engineering.

I have recently been told that I should probably drop a subject unless I can turn my grades around, and that has seriously helped my motivation to turn them around but has also caused my confidence to dip a bit.
Everyone's targets sound wonderful! Puddles will send you a PM on Monday (or maybe Tuesday due to the massive interest in this!) to verify your current grades, but you don't need to wait for that to start your blog! Make a thread in the Grow your Grades forum and tell us a bit about yourself, where you're at currently and what you aim to do :yep:

Best of luck to you all
My goals for this year are to get 90%+ in my biology, chemistry, computer science and physics AS level and above 700 in the UKCAT. Also high scoring in the BMAT.
Hi,
I am currently in year 12 and studying Chemistry, Physics, History and Maths and started to self study Further Maths. My mock grades were not good at all, I got U in chem, U in physics C in history and C in maths. I am hoping to boost my grades up by the summer exams to B in chem and physics, C in history and further maths and an A in maths. I'd love to be a part of this as it'll give me motivation to reach my targets! Thanks!

Hello, my name is Herecome_i and I am failing Biology AS. (Exam Board AQA). I've been getting Us and Es since the beginning of term, and I'm in danger of being dropped from the course. My other AS subjects are Chem, Stats and Religious Studies. I've been doing alright in my core maths and religious studies, but my stats and chem have recently been flailing in open waters.

My my targets for the end of this year is to get a minimum of a B in bio, and A's in stats, chem and Religious Studies. As I am a prospective medical student, I would also like to score 85%+ in my BMAT and UKCAT tests.

On my blog, I have set myself revision targets, and will check in a minimum of twice a week.

I would love to be a part of this thread as it would give me some much needed motivation, and it would make me stick to my revision goals. I would also really like the support this thread would give me.

Thank you.
Hello, my goal is to get the grades I want at the end of this year which are
A in edexcel geography
A- chemistry ocr a
B- biology aqa
The things I struggle on are the applying your knowledge to new situations. So I need to work on that.
Good luck to everyone else with their goals!

Spoiler

Puddles will drop you a PM on Monday/Tuesday regarding verifying your grades, however, in the meantime, feel free to start a blog in the Grow your Grades forum to keep us updated, and you can chat about the competition in the Discussion thread!

Best of luck!
can i ask what exam board you are using for Chemistry?

My mocks are next week , so i will add my grades in after I've received my grades
Okay so I'm failing AS Biology really badly:frown:, in all the biweekly tests we do i always get U's and i hoping this will help me get better grades. I'm predicted a D but if i can get better that's a bonus. I will try anything to get my grades up to match the rest of the class:unimpressed:. Hate being the most stupid.

Well here's to hoping
Thanks Ellie
