Because it is kind of a sad reflection on society that even online where people can be completely anonymous, they feel the need to justify declaring one guy 'hotter' than the other with it being 'no homo'. It wouldn't be anyway, there's no need to try to explain that its just your opinion and say that you're not gay just for thinking it.
