Withdrawing from Choices

Hey, everyone!

I have already received 4 out of 5 offers and the two universities I will choose as firm and insurance choices have offered me a place.

Is it okay to withdraw from the university I'm waiting for in order to proceed with my application and choose my firm and insurance choices?

While it is possible it is NOT a good idea to rush choosing firm/insurance.

The EARLY deadline is in May. Choosing before April will not gain you any benefits.

Every year we have applicants regretting making early decisions with limited options available to them.

I'd recommend giving your last choice til March 31 to reply (that is their target date) if they don't THEN withdraw and pick your f/i in April. You might not change your mind but even then you can be extra confident you've made the right choices.
