Western countries.
And their religion doesn't require them to wear crosses.
If European, American etc women are expected to cover themselves when in Arabic countries, why don't Muslim women uncover themselves not to look weird on our streets?

It's not about looking weird. It's about having respect.
It's basic manners and it's sad people haven't been taught that from a young age.

Islam has convinced me and it will convince you and everybody.

I'd rather die.

What about respect for the women the religion has such a clearly misogynistic view of?

The only people who think Islam has a misogynistic view of women are those that aren't Muslim.

That's convenient. Maybe because Muslims are too blind to it. Forcing a woman to cover her hair just because she's a woman and her husband/ father doesn't want men looking at her is misogynistic.

Yeah we're all brainwashed.

Or maybe she's doing it because she's obeying her Lord?

So shouldn't Muslims have respect for our belief that women can't be forced to cover their entire bodies and be guarded by men all the time?

"Her Lord", the belief in whom was forced into her mind when she was an innocent child so that she would think there's a reason for her being treated like property, a reason other than men of her culture being *******s :P ?

So why don't Muslims abandon the burka etc in Western countries when they know non-Muslims find it offensive?

Who's being forced here? And where are you getting the idea they have to be guarded by men all the time? Have you actually spoken to every Muslim woman or are you just making generalisations like others?

Because Western countries are secular and there's no reason for them to be offended. It's not in their religion or anything.

Only you think they're being treated like property. I'm sorry you have such a disgusting mind set. That's why more women then men are reverting to Islam

What exactly do you mean with connecting my opinion to how more women than men convert to Islam?

I'm sure there are some nice, chilled Muslims, and that there are some women who choose to cover themselves, but to choose to do so is pretty much only possible in modern, secular societies - if a woman doesn't cover herself in a Muslim country she gets punished, so what other "choice" does she have than to "choose" to cover herself "for the Lord" ?

You think women are treated inferior yet more women are reverting to Islam.

Well if it's the laws of the country then obviously you have to obey them.

Well some are, especially places like Italy and Ireland. This really isn't a question about Islam, a lot of muslim females don't wear any kind of headdress, she simply violates the oppressive dress code that is enforced upon women on Saudi Arabia

It isn't an oppressive dress code.
It's compulsory on a Muslim woman to wear a headscarf. Any woman refusing to do so is just being lazy and picking and choosing her own rules of Islam.
