I DID have a boyfriend but we split up so hence I'm single and in no rush to start seeing anyone. I have no plans to rush into any relationships with anyone yet because as some people might think if you don't have a boyfriend there's something wrong with you. I waited long enough for my first boyfriend, I'm not particularly in any hurry

You're exactly right. I was disgusted with the comments, it shows just how selfish people are. Yes, men can be harassed too, but the videos are not about men, so stop making the situation about yourself. If you can't sympathise with people fearing for their lives, how do you expect us to sympathise with you. I've actually recently stopped looking in comment sections for videos, especially on youtube for ANY video because they're just appalling. These people are only confident to do this because they're behind a keyboard.

I've been trying to do the same myself but it's so hard. I occasionally see a guy our girl post something really meaningful, that's always cool. I just don't understand how there are people who could say those kinds of things. I've never met anyone so narrow minded, even the most douchiest (invented a word there) guys (or girls). I guess either those people are weirdos holed up in their parents basements with nothing else to do or are closet misogynists...?

My mum was very similar but limited it to age 18 (I turned 18 a week ago). Relationships sometimes doesn't always revolve around sex, my friends was in a 2.5 year relationship and it never got to that stage, I think it'll be the same for me (though I have never been in a relationship) due to me being an INFP on the myers briggs personality I seriously would want a girlfriend just so that I can love her and to make her happy, and wouldn't consider anything until after marriage

Closet misogynist is my guess. Like you said, people rarely say these things out loud proudly, they're only confident enough to because they know you do know who they are.
