Who has been a bigger threat to world peace?

Your idea of peacekeeping is dropping nuclear bombs on innocent civilians, killing thousands of lives?

It wasn't done for no reason, the Japanese refused to end the war, so the bombing was a last desperate measure. Also USA may be been the ones to drop the bombs but it was in collaboration with their allies, so it's unfair to pin this on just them.

That's pure assumption on your part.

I hear a question like that and I think throughout the entirety of the world's existence.

If the question said "who's the biggest threat to world peace today?" then I would answer differently.

So during the time of the annual world peace conference you think that they are all in there discussing how they can achieve world peace in the year 1256? When people talk of erradicating world hunger you don't think they mean world hunger today but world hunger in the time of the Mayan Empire? Do you think that comic relief put the cheque that they write in the post and address it to 900 years ago? You're being ridiculous.

I'm being ridiculous? You're the one ignoring the past tense in the question.

So do people really think that war only got invented at the same time as the US?

How about the c.10,000yrs of human existence before the declaration of independence was signed? Still think it was the US?

No. We think the roman empire is the biggest threat to world peace.

Nope.

But I do find how selective people in Europe can be over recent post war history.

Americas support in defeating maxi germany. The Marshall plan. Financial support for NATO. Stationing troops in Europe to stop Warsaw pact troops.

Maxi germany rofl. 70% of german casualties lied at the hands of the soviet union. But yes america supported in defeating nazi germany. Keyword : support

Support as in fought heavily for, financed and equipped soviet troops and led the way in the defeat of the japanese.

We'd all be speaking german if it weren't for uncle Sam. Uncle joes success wasn't so sure. Maybe, what if, possibly.
The USA sticking their nose everywhere they shouldn't and manipulating international relationships.

We're you aware that the United states navy was actively escorting convoys in the Atlantic prior to germany declaring war on America

Uss Reuben James was sunk by a german U boat a whole month before germany deckred war on America.
Religion. It motivates everyone from the GOP to ISIS and gives their leaders a powerful tool to control people with.

I am aware of 70% of german casualties fall in soviet hands. Something the states neither did nor is capable of doing.

You would be correct.

Are you aware that the Americans financed and equipped the soviets?

We're the soviets involved in a sustained effort in fighting in the Pacific as well?

You do know WW2 wasn't just european don't you? The ckue was in the name?

We're the Russians island hopping through the Pacific whilst also training and equipping chinese troops and fighting in India and Burma?
