Well, I'm only a GCSE student...

Heres a definition I found:
noun
noun: cognitive behavioral therapy

a type of psychotherapy in which negative patterns of thought about the self and the world are challenged in order to alter unwanted behaviour patterns or treat mood disorders such as depression.

but surely a ethical implication of the cognitive behaviour therapy is...

That people find it morally wrong because it is:

A) Mental damaging or maybe it provides you with false hope. It could drive them into more depressive state maybe?

Social: It improves everyone's well being and happiness, thus making the world a happier and cheerful place. However, many people may just be hiding this?

i'm sorry if this is completely wrong... But it may be helpful. Sorry if I have no idea what I'm talking about
Ethical issue - CBT involves 'inoculating'; thus exposing individual to situations that may be highly stressful. I think...
Unsure about the social implication.

No, most of what you say there is correct.
You can build upon it, but you have the core ideas there.

yes of course; you've highlighted the main ethical issue with therapies like this - psychological harm.
