How many GCSEs do you do?

I was wondering how many GCSEs are average to do in your school?
Also, how many you are doing and what subjects are they?

I'm doing 13 but I've already done 6 of them. They're:

English Language
English Literature
Core Science
Additional Science
Maths
Statistics
ICT
French
History
Geography
Religious Studies
Business Studies
D&T: Product Design

EDIT: Oops, forgot to say the number done in my school varies from 9-13.

I got 8 gcses. The number at my school varied from 5-10+
I'm doing:
English Language
English Literature
Maths
Further Maths
History
German
Religious Studies
Computing
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Music
Graphic products

I feel I've missed one or two out though.
I may be moving school within the next few weeks so I may end up changing what I'm doing.

My school does between 9-13 though.

I do ten proper ones and a 'half' one. It's supposed to be a full one, but I don't really count it.
Eng lit, Eng lang, maths, physics, chemistry, biology, RS, history, citizenship and ICT.

The 'half' one is a CiDA ICT qualification.
I'm doing 12 in school, but I taught myself latin last year and did the GCSE, so that makes 13
However, most people at our school do 12 ^-^
My school ranges from about 11 - 13 (unless you drop subjects you are performing poorly in making this figure lower)

I'm doing 13 GCSEs (though 7 of them I did last year) which are:

Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Maths
Further Maths
English Lit
English Lang
ICT
RS
French
Geography
Psychology
Drama

Everyone also does a number of AS levels in year 11. Citizenship AS is compulsory, and you do Science and English AS if you did the gcses in year 10. I am doing 3 (Science, English Lit/lang and Citizenship Studies) but some also do Philosophy and/or Economics AS if they choose it as an option, so you can potentially do 5 AS levels in year 11
I'm doing:
English Language
English Literature
Maths
Core Science
Additional Science
Philosophy and Ethics
ICT
French
Sociology
Performing Arts

Most pupils at my school study for ten GCSEs, but it might be reduced to eight or ten.

WTFTWTF that is insane..5 ASs in year 11, so you could do 5 in year 11 and another 4 next year giving you 9 ASs? How come you do so many a year early!!

idk my school like to "accelerate" the more able students so we can get more qualifications idk what the actual point is tho
I'm doing 10, plus I did another short course last year, so 10.5 overall. The usual is 9.5, the max is 11.5. I think the year below us get to do quite a few more, however!

I personally didn't find History particularly difficult because I really enjoyed it (i'm doing it for A level). In fact, I got 397/400 UMS marks in it! Geography on the other hand I hate and I would say is more difficult that History because there's more to remember. I guess it depends on the person though

Statistics: B (they made my year do higher coursework with the foundation paper so this was the highest I could get -_-).
ICT: A
Core Science: A
History: A*
French: A*
Business Studies: A*

I'm predicted A*s in the 7 I'm doing this year so should have a round 10 overall:tongue:
I did 5, everyone else did 10.5+
