Hello!!! I'm in year 12 studying Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Business Studies and I really want to push myself to do the very best I can so I am to get at least 90% UMS this year as I got really lazy when doing my GCSES and I got quite mediocre grades i.e mostly Bs.

Goal: To get As in all 4 subjects at A-level. :biggrin:

Current Grades: Maths: A
Physics:C/D (Really need to improve that)
Chemistry:A/B
Business Studies:B/C

I will update when I get my mock results soon.

OH NO.....

So my physics teacher just told the class that 80% of us have got a U in the mock. I have to say I feel I am part of the majority it really wasn't my best exam and I ran out of time. :frown:

I will get my actual mock results on 11th February although I think I did ok physics is really worrying me.

Now that I may have hit rock bottom it is only up from here. :biggrin:

MOCK RESULTS

So I got my results back:

Maths: B (3 off A)
Chemistry:B
Business:B (2 off A)
Physics :biggrin:

I think I actually did ok as when I got my tests back I realised I just made really silly mistakes like a + instead of a -. I know I can get those Bs up to As near the end. I don't really know what to do with physics though I was actually shocked I got a D as so many people failed and I think I may have done better if I had more time.

I would like to do Physics with astrophysics but considering my D in my Physics mock it might not be possible so probably something maths based

Yeh i think a lot of people are drawn to that part in physics :tongue:

yep i am why do you ask?
hmmm quite hard to think of a favourite but i quite like cosmology and love all the space stuff

Further maths could be good if you want to go into a maths or science related career (: I'm still considering whether to only take it to AS
