All the statistics websites have really different stats for both! Maybe they are taken from different years? Unistats, which uni, what uni...
Which one is most trustworthy?

Hmm..I also have to choose between Manchester and UCL (among others ):
I've looked at the student satisfaction for UCL and Manchester but there seems to be a huge difference:

What other universities can you choose from?
Also that is for MSci, the BSc shows

I'm assuming MSci is based on all four years, could it just be based on the final year? I can't find any clarification.

In most league tables Manchester is placed above UCL for Physics. (Not massive difference, which makes it harder!)

I think UCL is better in research from REF 2014.

It comes down to personal preference, but statistics can help!
If interpreted properly

I have read a statement on the site of the IoP saying that if you are going to study Physics, the university you attend is not of such great importance. Is this true, because it has some logic in it, but I want to hear a few more opinions.

I applied to do Software Engineering and now have had a drastic change of heart and want to do Physics instead , wasted my application.

Has anyone who applied for Imperial around December heard back yet?
I applied around mid-december and have only received an acknowledgement, I know that they hold their final set of interviews between Feb and Early March (or so their website says).

Also has anyone actually been rejected? I hope they don't leave it until the last minute to just send out rejections -_-

Generally a physics degree from any RG university is as good as anything, although going to one of the more respected RG universities doesn't hurt ofc

Russell Group doesn't mean anything. If it's accredited by IOP your modules are basically the same no matter where you go. All that will change your option modules and the indicative content of those option modules is the research being done by the university.. Russell Group or not Russell Group doesn't make a difference.

Russel group unis tend to get more finance for their research and so you tend to get better opportunities in research in your later years

I did C1 C2 S1 last year and doing C3 C4 and S2 this year, hate stats though but my school doesnt give us the option really and they dont offer further maths

Last year I did C1-4 and M1 and M2, this year it's FP1-3, S1, D1 and M3

Last year I did:
C1, C2, C3, C4, M1, S1

This year I'm doing:
FP1, FP2, FP3, M2, M3, S2
