OMG wow! I've done questions 1-9 so far, apart from question 7 - could you please help me with that? Also, can you please help me with question 10?

So for question seven, I considered the differential of sin (2x^3) and compared it to what I was trying to get
Question 10 is an integral given in the formula booklet

You still get one though.

One 3 hour exam, without any formula books at all. Not cool.

I tend to just remember them to save time. Same for physics, you end up using them so much it becomes ingrained

Physics equations are generally easier anyway, yet we get a booklet for that.

Our maths formula booklet is amazing, we get sooooo much from it. We have so many pages in it

Yep, none of this panzy modular stuff. All the content is assessed in one go.

That plus the fewer resources available is what makes Advanced Highers more difficult than A2s - they command more UCAS points as well.

The CIE booklet is useless. Oh wow, how to derive sin x! How useful in a 3 hour long FM paper!

They didn't even give it us in an AS physics exam and no-one realised until there was like 10 minutes left.

IMO there is absolutely no point in rote learning things in maths - maths is about understanding... Which our formula booklet kind of encourages.

I want to murder the IBO, this is an extremely unfair advantage.

No it isn't, when you see how hard the questions are... And you actually need a deep understanding of concepts, it's not simply a matter of 'plug in the numbers' all the time...
